Start with a photo, a logo, or a screenshot. A tightly cropped image helps focus the palette on the colors you want.
Adjust the color count, edit the swatches, and try different background, text, and accent combinations in the preview.
Copy HEX values or CSS variables, download a PNG palette card, or share a link to the colors without sharing your image.
Choose, drop, or paste a photo or screenshot. FindFont extracts up to five distinct colors automatically. Select a swatch to see, edit, and copy its HEX or RGB value. You can request between three and eight colors.
Similar shades are grouped, and smaller accents may be omitted. Fully transparent pixels are ignored. Try increasing the color count or cropping around the colors you want. Simple graphics may have fewer distinct colors than requested. Sampled colors reflect your browser’s decoded image, not a color-managed print measurement.
No. Color extraction runs locally in your browser. FindFont does not upload or save your image. Shared links contain only your palette colors and preview settings; they do not include the original image.
Use a still PNG, JPEG, or WebP image up to 5 MB and 16 million pixels. Animated images and SVG files are not supported. For a more focused palette, crop your image before adding it.
Choose Download PNG to save a palette card, Copy HEX colors to copy the colors, or Copy CSS for CSS variables. Share palette copies a link containing your colors and preview settings. Your original image is not included.
The score measures contrast between your selected text and background colors. The preview reports WCAG AA results for normal and large text and shows accent contrast separately. A passing score does not assess the whole design, keyboard access, or screen-reader usability.
