These are Unicode characters, not a font, so they paste into Instagram and TikTok bios, captions, Discord and chats without installing anything. They look a little different on each device, and screen readers may not read them as words, so keep important information in plain text.

About calligraphy fonts
Calligraphy fonts are drawn from pen and brush lettering. Pointed-pen scripts like Petit Formal Script and Pinyon Script copy copperplate's thick downstrokes and hairline joins. Broad-nib fonts like Lugrasimo, Felipa and Fondamento have the angled strokes of italic handwriting, Uncial Antiqua and MedievalSharp come from medieval books, and Mr Dafoe and Playball are brush lettering.

Questions
- Is the Calligraphy Generator free? Do I need an account?
- It's free and needs no account. Your text is drawn in your browser and isn't sent to FindFont. Download a PNG or copy the image, copy letters to paste as text, or download an SVG of any open-licensed font for Cricut and laser cutters.
- What's the difference between calligraphy and cursive fonts?
- Cursive fonts join their letters the way everyday handwriting does. Calligraphy fonts copy a particular pen or brush: the thick and thin strokes of a pointed nib, the angled strokes of a broad nib, or the texture of a brush. Some, like Uncial Antiqua, don't join their letters at all.
- Can I copy and paste calligraphy text?
- The copy-and-paste rows turn your text into Unicode script letters, which work in bios, captions and chats. They are characters, not a font, so there is only one script look. For any of the calligraphy fonts above, download the image instead.
- Can I use these calligraphy fonts for wedding invitations or products?
- Yes. All the fonts on this page use the SIL Open Font License, which allows personal and commercial use, including printed invitations and products you sell. Each font's page has its full license.
- How do I cut calligraphy with a Cricut?
- Download the SVG. Your text arrives as shapes, so you can open it in Design Space and weld the letters into one piece before cutting. Very thin hairlines can be too fine to cut, so pick a bolder font like Mr Dafoe or Playball for small sizes.
