Who designed the lightning-bolt logo?
Wizarding World's account of the Cursed Child redesign credits the iconic lightning-bolt Harry Potter logo to Mary GrandPré. It also describes its use across books, films and official projects. That gives the lettering a documented author and a broader franchise context. It does not identify a retail font file for every film title or book jacket. A useful identification starts with this specific logo; a chapter heading, a subtitle and a film's opening credits are separate typography questions.

Try this for calmer bookish typography alongside a display title. It is an independent serif direction, not Harry Potter logo lettering.

For your own fantasy heading, compare the capital H and P, the length of the R leg, the taper of the strokes and the rhythm between repeated letters. A sharp detail on one character will not make an otherwise conventional serif into this logo. Build an original word first, then decide whether an accent or flourish actually improves it. Test the title without shadows or metallic shading: the silhouette should remain legible before effects carry the atmosphere.
A licensed serif direction to explore
ITC Benguiat is offered by ITC through MyFonts. It is an editorial option for a decorative serif heading, not a font attributed here to Harry Potter. Try your own title in the merchant's specimen and compare its proportions with a calmer serif such as Libre Baskerville. Cinzel offers another formal display direction. A different alphabet gives different words different spacing problems, so inspect the whole heading rather than one familiar character. Select a license for your actual application before using a commercial font; FindFont does not distribute its files.
